You are right, of course! I guess what I was trying to say had to do with gender essentialism. It seems harmful to say women are this way and men are that way, when what we want is a little more masculinity in women and a little more femininity in men, meaning women need to be more assertive and men more kind... But there I am attributing specific traits to specific genders again! It's tricky... Just thinking out loud here...
