Wow! This story blew my mind. Thank you for your badass righteous anger!!! I'm not familiar with the Koran, so your quoted passages are an eye opener for me. In the Bible, I'm amazed that Eve, the first woman, is denigrated for eating from the Tree of KNOWLEDGE and convincing her husband Adam to do so, too. Supposedly, that's the origin of all bad things. Men and women both were supposed to remain ignorant and docile like cows in Paradise. That was God's ridiculous plan. But Eve broke us out of that prison by waking us up. Who doesn't want knowledge? Eve deserves our thanks for that!
