Tony, I have a question. Why isn't Nigeria on your list of new countries Medium is opening the Partner Program to? It's one of the biggest countries in the world. It has a young population--half the people under 28. When Fourth Wave first got a submission from Nigerian Poet Stephen Emmanuel Ogboh, I was thrilled! But I had to set up a Fourth Wave Editors account to publish him, with his byline as the subtitle. Later, he set up an account, but couldn't join the Partner Program. And for awhile he was cut off when Medium stopped allowing editing via phone. That was the only technology he had. He published many beautiful poems here, but eventually stopped submitting, and I can't help but think not being able to enroll in the Partner Program was part of that. I still believe in the original promise of the internet--that it will connect us as a global community. I wish Stephen was still sending me poems like this one, which gives me a glimpse of life in his country across the globe: https://medium.com/fourth-wave/a-womans-troubles-16e42da36e1
