This was a really interesting read. It seems to me that men are just as traumatized as women, if not more so--at least in looking around at the men and women I know and interact with. As an older woman, I was raised when parents didn't pay that much attention to their children, and that was good for me! I grew naturally on my own, without too much suffering or input. When I considered the male/female divide, it seemed to me that men were the bad guys in the movie of life, women the good. So my psyche was relatively unharmed by my gender.
