This reminds me of what happened when we went to the movies recently. I picked one that centered on a woman. My partner said he didn't like it because it wasn't realistic. This is hilarious, considering the movies he likes best have giant monsters in them!!! The next time, when he chose the movie, the characters were jumping out of windows from the third floor of a building and never getting a scratch or breaking a bone, etc. etc. So realistic... He complains when I pick a woman-centered movie that nothing "happens" but I've been watching men jump out of windows all my life -- I want some variety!!!
