This is not a review but a comment on the opinions of some Native scholars about the film which I found profound and thought-provoking. Questions they raised include how well can a white person tell a Native person's story? Should violence and trauma be turned into entertainment? And are the two white stars at the center of the movie truly portrayed as villains, or given sympathetic treatment? These are questions worth discussing whether or not one decides to see the film.
