Thanks for giving the worldwide perspective on this. I had no idea that so many countries are providing easy access to the pill. Given the political climate in the USA right now, I wonder if the FDA approval will be revoked. :( As you noted in your story, we recently lost our right to abortion here in the U.S., where there is an effort afoot to strip women of their rights, even going so far as rolling back "no fault" divorce, making it harder to leave a marriage. I'm very interested in all your stories reporting on the feminist movement worldwide. I don't see much of this covered in the mainstream news.
