The "menstruation regulator" in the final paragraphs came from a story in the NYT that said abortion is technically illegal in India but that women who miss their periods can go to the doctor in the first three months to have a procedure done to "regulate" their period which is actually an abortion, but not classified as such. But it sounds like you are saying abortion is legal in India? Please enlighten me. I'm very interested in what's happening re: women's right to reproductive choice around the world.
