Thank you so much for this excellent piece that addresses so many flaws in our thinking.

I remember after the Incel killed people in Santa Barbara, I fell for the idea that men like him need more access to sexual partners which he espoused in his manifesto. I told my partner that they should allow sex therapists on campus. He said, "Believe me, there's a lot more wrong with that man than that he can't get laid." And of course that's true!

This is just to say it's easy to fall for the shallow thinking that passes as social analysis. Thanks for clearing up many misguided notions.
