Thank you for this marvelous tour of Pompeii. I've never been there myself, but if I ever go, my trip will be enhanced by the knowledge you've shared here. The frescoes are so beautiful! And the story is inspiring. Even in a patriarchal city, there's room for women to be given rights, work, and honor on a par with men.
