Thank you for bringing this important work to Fourth Wave. I remember first reading the word "femicide" in relation to protests in Mexico in 2020 and imagining it wasn't something that happened "here," (I live in the US). Boy, was I wrong. In the U.S., three women a day are murdered for being women. Yet this dangerous hatred of women is hidden and excused. I understand that it's worse for indigenous women and girls.
