Thank you for another chapter in this amazing woman's story. As a former journalist myself, she is a woman after my own heart. Her bravery in investigating and reporting on injustice and the brutal racism of white people was astonishing, and helped many in her community. It cost her a lot, including her business and home, which were burned down. She was a fearless, powerful, and admirable example of womanhood. I wish they'd put her image on U.S. money, as they promised to put Harriet Tubman but never delivered. I want to see both these women honored nationally for the heroes they truly were.
