OMG, that is horrible. You are one of maybe five writers on Medium that I always read. Your publication has important and culture-changing stories that stand FAR out from the crowd of self help and clickbait. I want you to be happy here and stay here in perpetuity! You add so much value to my Medium experience.

I'm guessing that "eng" resources means engineers? IDK. I want to tag founder Ev Williams @ev @Ev but the tags aren't turning green here in the comments so IDK if that will work. Also Kawandeep Virdee @whichlight who as far as I know is responsible for writer satisfaction on Medium.

One thing I do is I have an email list of readers who aren't on Medium and once I get my own newsletter for my publication (Fourth Wave) I forward it to them via regular email. Do you have access to your list of subscribers? I thought I saw a tool for downloading that somewhere... I'm not trying to put the responsibility on you but thinking of a workaround for this broken system. :( Please know you are important and valued by your readers, if not by Medium staff, who are probably always in a fog considering how often rules and systems change here...
