It's amazing how long it takes to get over our upbringing--pretty much our whole lives! I feel lucky that my parents more or less ignored me. I was 4th of 5 and it was the 50s--60s, when free range parenting was the norm. We weren't in a church, so I more or less avoided indoctrination. There was trouble in paradise, but mostly it just washed off my back because it was between my parents and didn't really involve me. Anyway, thank you for this story and the fabulous pictures. I'm glad you are figuring out how to set yourself free!
