If you believe life begins at conception, you should make your life decisions based on your beliefs. My beliefs are different, and I manage my life according to mine.

I had an abortion in college, thankfully, so I was able to finish my degree and get married and employed before having children. My belief is that particular baby's soul went to a kind of waiting room in heaven until I was ready to be a mother and then came back and became my first child.

Everyone must make their own choices based on their own beliefs. My choice resulted in me being a productive member of society instead of an impoverished single mom with a low level job and no time or money to spend with her daughter. Instead, my daughter was well taken care of and now is a scientist with a PhD. Society has benefited from my choice.
