I was shocked while watching "Portrait of a Lady on Fire" when the two women protagonists revealed their armpit hair. Later, I wondered why that shocked me. It's crazy that we pressure women to shave this off in the U.S. and U.K., not to mention to trim their pubic area to silly shapes and sizes. It's oppressive.
