I truly think this is the key to gender equity. Women can work and earn their own money. And if they prefer to stay home with their children, that's fine, but they need to insist that their husbands hand over their paychecks. Who holds the pursestrings holds the power, and women are more likely (than men) to share that power rather than dominate.
