I see these three adjectives as undesirable, and wonder if holding them up as feminine ideals plays into the plague of domestic abuse that convinces 1 in 4 women to allow themselves to be brutalized. I'm a white woman, and I want to be attractive but not submissive, weak, or conventional. I would love it if the term feminine didn't imply weakness but strength. I don't understand how the gender who creates life, gives birth, and raises children can ever be classified as weak. It's BS propaganda that keeps women down.
I'm also interested in casting off the notion that women even need to be coupled up to live their best life. I've been reading a lot of Bella DePaulo on this platform and like what she has to say about the satisfactions of single life.
