I loved this story! I've been thinking about fairy tales recently, after re-reading Angela Carter's "The Bloody Chamber." They are so rich in metaphor and double meaning. Your version of Snow White's mirror kept me mesmerized throughout. Although we don't often get fiction and almost never get fairy tales, in a strange coincidence, Fourth Wave published two fairy tales this week! Magic is afoot!
