I love this. It describes so well the magic balance between honoring yourself and honoring your marriage. Sublimating your wants and needs does NOT honor your marriage. It’s not one or the other — you or your partner. There’s a middle path on which you can be true to yourself and then offer that best self in service to the marriage.
