I got a little agitated reading this story because I don't believe in spanking children and I'm glad the culture in North America has changed significantly regarding the acceptability of that--at least where I live in San Francisco. But I recognize too that I'm ignorant of other cultures and places and I want to learn and connect with all kinds of people. I agree that motherhood is incredibly hard and also deeply rewarding and that we are imperfectly perfect human beings. Thank you for sharing your motherhood story and these tips!
