I find this story kind of scary. Plus I'm sad for the pigs, which are very smart animals. Have you read Margaret Atwood's Maddaddam trilogy? It features genetically altered pigs (and humans) and is at its core a story of unintended consequences. I highly recommend it. Thanks for this informative piece, though.
