I emailed the author and she says she watched the video and saw the interaction as a slap. It's not a blatant untruth. It's open to interpretation. Whether I agree with her or not, I value her contributions to this publication and believe she has a right to express her opinion. Being a feminist does not mean supporting everything other women do. As to your other complaints, I don't presume to know who is white and who isn't, nor (as a former little white girl) did I ever dream of becoming a princess, or feel today that princesses deserve special treatment. The story you take issue with was written a long time ago and now that I've looked into it, I'm ready to move on. If you don't like this particular author, I hope you will find others you enjoy reading on this site. There are a lot of other authors here!
