I remember reading some of Elliot’s manifesto and saying to my husband Mark that maybe there should be sex workers on campus offering free services to horny men. Mark replied “Believe me, there was a lot more wrong with him than that he was horny.” I realized Mark was respecting women, and people in general, a lot more than I was. Most people are horny. Very few go on a murderous rampage because of it.
