Great story! And interesting timing--I just watched a movie last night about Lyudmila Pavlichenko, considered one of the best military snipers of all time. In the Soviet army, she fought Nazis and had 309 official kills, but probably many more unofficial ones. Although I find the "kills" terminology creepy, and am anti-war in general, I respect her for protecting her country, Jewish people, and other vulnerable people from the fascists who were hoping to take over the world in WWII.
