Great story and lesson. Most gender roles have been imposed by a corrupt social system designed to concentrate money and power in a few hands. Also, incidentally, whenever I'm overwhelmed by how awful people can be I remember all those kind souls on YouTube sharing their skills. You can learn how to do almost anything there!
