Fascinating story! It seems true to me that women have more moral courage than men. And it makes sense that men would have more physical courage. I love the way you show that both kinds of courage are accessible by all genders, and arise as needed. Humans are so adaptable. Now if only we could adapt to--and be kind to--each other!
